The other day I asked about "tired". Thanks to you guys who responded.
Now I am curious if a doctor or research scientist can tell me what sleep is.

Basically, brain maintenance time. Closing down conscious activity, external inputs, etc, enabling sorting of information, consolidating and refreshing.
Sleep deprivation being the opposite, resulting in confusion, hallucinations and ill health.

I had chemo today, and I can't sleep on those days,,, I will be getting it every three weeks for a while longer, it is working good for me but I don't know how long that will last.. I need to find another truck.... HAHAHA my old one quit running when the engine came in the cab with me...

I don’t know what it is, but I like it. Getting up, going to work after a bad night is miserable. I’m retiring the end of December, looking forward to the end of getting up at 4:30
