Let's back up about five years I miss special run of stainless Barrel Ruger American 8 twist 22-250. Good shooting cheaper rifle but anywhere or anyone got a reliable fix or a decent magazine for these yet.

Buy a factory stock that takes the AISC style magazines and use them instead of the Ruger Factory crap mags. PM me if you need a stock...I think I have one that I'd part with.

I've got a 5.56 and 6.5 grendel in such stocks and arrangements. But 22 250 is too long for mags. , now though about ai style but wonder if that be too long of mag. Or if the stock for long mag would fit the barreled action

Far left rifle is a 22-250 Rem with 1 in 10 twist...handles the MDT 308 mags like a champ

2 stocks pictured are capable of accepting the AISC mags the other 3 are probably exactly what you have and are not compatible ( they take the rotary style mags)

Ordered a Magpul stock with the AI style mag well. In Black thinking about having it dipped. I wonder what dip pattern or color would look good with a blue and stainless Barrel would look good

Nobody’s mentioned it yet but the 450 Bushmaster American Mags work like a charm. I’ve been running one in mine for a couple years now and haven’t had a single issue. Haven’t looked at prices in a while but was around $20 when I got mine.

I just kind of needed an excuse for a new stock I like the way it shoots very accurate

I have one of these rifles but have not run it yet. What is the problem with the magazine?

I bought the 450 BM mags for my LH 6.5CM Predator. They work great. I don't know why they won't work with the 22-250.

Couldn't find one with that ordering. Found the Magpul stock but the acis typ mag . That mag is intended for 308 family five shop capacity with a 22-250 and only works good for I've heard the same of the 450 Bushmaster mags .

I should load some 22-250 cartridges in mine to see if there are any issues.

I have 2 Ruger Americans in 22-250, a Predator and one of the 1-8 specials. I haven't had any problems with the rotary mags but did buy a 450 mag and it works just fine also.
