Give it a couple days and regardless of PFD, he will pop up. Yep. Grew up on the Ohio River. Old saying was that "The River would give up it's dead on the third day." Cooler temps out that way might take an extra day...

Cooler temps out that way might take an extra day... One winter time recovery I worked on in North Louisiana took over a month. It was a cypress tree area. I guess he could have been lodged or we just missed seeing him.
