OP Salmonella Campfire Outfitter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,248 Likes: 2 Behind Enemy Lines	We haven't been able to match up our schedules lately, but he did a solo backpack hunt in the Trinity Alps Wilderness and shot this nice Blacktail. He posted this photo and text on his Facebook page and it made his old man proud...👍 Being a back country costal blacktail hunter consist of not knowing how many miles your legs will take you from the trail head or how long the water you carry will last, food seems to be the least of your concerns after the exertion it takes to get even close to these creatures your straps work there way into your shoulders and hips until they bottom out it seems .. the sooner you realize these animals are ghost in gods country the sooner you will begin to understand them. I am so Great full for all the winters and migrations this beautiful animal survived before I made the effort to live its life style for just a few days the marble mountains will always and forever be home to the toughest. Proud NRA Life Member
