I think the 'tree trunk is actually a weathered remnant of an old wooden wagon wheel hub.

I have searched carefully,the entire 'picture' on my moniter screen with a high power magnifying glass.

The only ususual object I have encountered, is a 'Small-White-Hand' with index finger pointed upward.
This mysterious 'Hand' moves about the picture - popping up in various locations as I search.
