On 9/14 heard one of our coworkers was in bad shape from covid and was being air lifted to another hospital. 9/23 they gave us word it wasnt lookin good. Today they announced he has passed. Early 30s, too damn young. Leaves 3 young kids and a wife behind. Just breaks my heart those kids gonna grow up without their dad. Some prayers for Brandon and his family if you will. Thank you.

If he was given the hospital “protocols”, Remdesevir and ventilator; I’m fairly certain that finished him off. The “flu” doesn’t kill young men as a rule. If he took the jab…that’s a totally different scenario.

pahick: Did he have the shots? I honestly dont know. Just found out he was an Army veteran. Everyones kinda quiet about it tonight. If I had to guess, id say no. A lot of people refusing to get vaxxed. Especially the younger folks. We've had a boatload of positives, one was in the hospital, intubated, made it out, still suffering some sides. Most figure theyve already been exposed, why get vaxxed. Thats their choice.

Id post a pic but think it not proper. Guessing id say he was carrying an extra 25, maybe 30lbs. Looked healthy though. Cant say if he was a smoker or not. I smoke and dont remember seeing him out with any of us that do.

One of the guys I hunt with got out of the ICU today to a regular room. He has been in ICU 39 days with the covid.
He has asthma.
