If you have no problem with racking the slide of a regular Shield, they serve no purpose. They aren't real high mileage guns in our rental program. Little things always breaking or coming loose, according to our gunsmith.

They had them for what seemed like a good price ($349.99) or I wouldn't have even considered one. I went back this morning and both were gone. I ended up buying another Sig P365.

I've got one and have no regrets. It is reliable, accurate, fits my hand, and points well for me. It's not the smallest and doesn't hold half a box of ammo. I've shot +P ammo in it and it is comfortable to shoot.

Its a great CCW for women that have trouble racking the slide as the standard Shield does have a heavy spring. The EZ has been plaque with quality control issues and accuracy for a EDC not on par with the regular Shield.

Haven't put a ton of rounds through mine but it has been reliable and does exactly what I want it to do. It is a perfect deep cover gun and light enough I can carry it in gym shorts or hide it under a t-shirt when a bigger gun would not have worked.

Arthritis convinced me to go to the easy racking slide. I have 380 and 9mm. Both function properly and accuracy is acceptable. The only negative I have is with the magazine release on the 9mm. It is very hard to activate the magazine release to lower the slide into battery. I totally ignore it now and save time by removing magazine and then retract the slide and let it go forward. All that I have talked to experience the same situation. Other than that, all will say is favorable with the Shield ez pistols.
