Brian Laundrie’s parents called North Port police to report that Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman was on their property after the reality TV star arrived at their Florida home to aid in the search for their son. Police confirmed to multiple news outlets that they received a 911 call from Roberta Laundrie on Saturday stating that Chapman was at their North Port home. My guess is , he is out of the country Could be outta the country as easily as not. The Appalachian Trail thing is another great distraction where LE could tie up their resources. The supposed "burner phone" he walked in and signed a contract for then conveniently left at home for the police to pickup and waste time with makes me think he's had a plan. Haven't heard much mention of the resources he'd recently acquired on their weeks long road trip boondocking around the country. They'd involved themselves with the "van life community" and they specialize in off grid and outta the way places to hang out. They offer a lot of ideas on how to do it and where.

When he came home, the family loaded the camper on the truck and they all went away for a few days.
When they returned home, Brian supposedly, went to the reserve place with a backpack.
How long could a guy survive there with what a pack would hold?
Mostly water, swamp, gators, bugs, snakes, etc.
I don't believe he ever went there. I think they took a bunch of stuff in the camper, maybe a passport, and dropped him somewhere.

Hiker has ‘no doubt’ he encountered Brian Laundrie on Appalachian Trail A Florida engineer is adamant he spoke with Brian Laundrie on a deserted road near the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina on Saturday morning. A lost and dazed man allegedly waved down Davis on Waterville Road, where the Appalachian Trail runs nearby the border of North Carolina and Tennessee. The man believed to be Laundrie pulled his car up alongside Davis to ask for directions to California using only back roads and refused Davis’ suggestion to take nearby Interstate 40. Davis said he believes if the man was Laundrie he was “wigged out” from being on the run and the situation with Petito. “He said ‘man, I’m lost.’ I said ‘what are you trying to find?’ and he said ‘me and my girlfriend got in a fight but she called me, told me she loves me, and I have to get to California to see her.’ “I said ‘well, I-40 is right there and you could take it west to California’ and he said, ‘I’m just going to take this road into California’. “He was worried and not making sense.” Davis did not immediately recognize the man as the fugitive until he pulled over and looked up photos of the outlaw on his phone. The man Davis sighted drove a white or light-colored pick up truck resembling a Ford F-150 and wore a dark bandana on his head. Davis is frustrated three calls to the FBI and 911 calls in both North Carolina and Tennessee have not been returned by law enforcement. I am not some goofball out there doing drugs in the middle of the night, I am a highly educated professional. “We have this lead but no one’s doing anything, not even a phone call.” “Dog the Bounty Hunter’s daughter sent me an audio file of Brian’s voice and the voice was the same I heard.”
