Our local is very small. Under 30.
We basically get a guy to help with the contracts, and an adviser
for issues. I think our rep is in Cincinnati. 370 miles away.
We don't see him often.
But he calls our president.

A union is necessary for decent employment in this place.
The owner is a piece of work.
The employment opportunities around here have changed hugely in the last 5
years. Enough that other places are looking better. I've actually encouraged
younger guys to look around, Its possible that in the next 10 years
we will be behind the curve. By then, I'll be done worrying about it.
