We are planning on doing a guys family trip to Alaska and do some salmon fishing, halibut, etc. do you guy have any recommendations on which part to go to and to either a book through a lodge or book through an Airbnb and purchase a charter for whatever day we want to go fishing. We would definitely like to catch kings, silver, reds, and halibut. We want to go during the salmon run. So also would like to know which is the best time. None of us have ever been to Alaska so any help is appreciated! Do you have a part of Alaska that you want to target?

We just got back from a great trip with Waters Edge Lodge at Elfin Cove.Very good DIY fishing,wonderful food and service. Tell Kelly Tim Barnett said hi when you talk to them. I’ve got customers from down here going up next year to fish out of their lodge. They are a first class outfit

Anywhere in SE or Kodiak for what you're wanting. The Kenai can be good too but there will be a lot more people.
I have caught all 5 salmon species in a single day around Aug 1 off the tip of POW Island and the Clarance (sp?) Straits, though the sockeye and chum were incidentals. The silvers and pinks were plentiful and there were enough kings to make me happy.
