If the umps are doing their job correctly you won’t even notice that they’re there.
Lots of folks can’t understand why batters get so hot about umpires’ calls but when you see the umps put on a show when somebody strikes out, it seems as if the ump is taking the side of the pitcher and celebrating the batter’s strikeout.
