Recently my wife has started snoring .Hell everybody snores but this is beyond human capability coupled with the dog we have been fostering that wants to sound just like her new mommy. The racket @ 0230 coming across the mattress just has to be heard to be believed.

I'm well stocked with Jack & WT but I'm not sure my liver can take the strain to be effective.

????????

Next step is a brick I'm afraid laugh

If she sleeps on her back ask her to change positions - like on her side. Often sleeping on your back will induce snoring and changing positions may stop the snoring entirely.

Don't have any experience with the anti-snoring gizmos.

I agree, wake her up and tell her to roll over.

Whoa, whoa, whoa!

If a woman is voluntarily on her back you never ask her to move.......

Seriously, If the Nasal strips don't have any effect on her snoring she should probably have a sleep study done or a least talk to her doctor to make sure it's not something more serious.

The anti snore thing might be good to try. Does she grit her teeth? If so get her one of those night guards to wear at night. It might help. As for the dog; well it can sleep somewhere else.

Those strips seem to work, when she uses them.

One of the reasons I done 25 push-ups and drank 2 cups of coffee so far.

In all seriousness she should get a sleep study done, to rule out sleep apnoea. And if it is that it may be treated pretty easily with CPAP, with the side benefits of stopping the noise and giving both of you better sleep. I'm not a doctor though.

Sounds like sleep apnea. She needs a sleep study and possibly a C-Pap machine.

Back in my youth I was taken on a pheasant hunting trip out to West Texas, just past Muleshoe. Went with the concrete sales guy and the owner of my company that at the time specialized in street work in Ft. Worth/Dallas Metroplex.

I took my retriever, (best dog I ever owned) and we got put up at a little motel with 4 beds to the room. Norther blew in and it was the coldest I have ever been, being the 4 strand was down between us and the North Pole...

It snowed all the first day, sideways, piled up about 6 inches and then the clouds blew out about dinner and the temp dropped down into the teens. Dog stirred during the very early morning and needed to go outside. I was standing, shivering in every piece of clothing I had when I noticed the truck windows we came up in seemed all frosted over, from the inside...

Closer inspection showed the salesman and my Owner asleep with their faces against the windows of the truck. I tapped on the window and asked George what the hell they were doing out here, and the malevolent red tinted eye spoke back, "If I had to live with you, I would poison your azz!" They sprang for a separate room night two.
