It’s never occurred to me to ask for layaway on the the Fire or any other classifieds lol. That has to be a first. Still isn’t cool to renege on a deal though.
I sent an "I will buy xxx" if they were a certain bullet. He acknowledged they were so those were mine. I then asked about other bullets he had for sale to see if they would work for me. He replied describing them. I replied I would also take another group of bullets as well. His next reply was they were all sold and paid for. I replied making sure I still had the xxx bullets as previously agreed upon. Nope, sold them all, even the bullets I said I would take.
I assume he was either paid more for them or wanted to combine for shipping purposes. Either way, same deal. Came to an agreement initially on a group of bullets and then were sold from under me. Smaller scale but same dirty deal. I didnt start a callout thread, or even put him on ignore, just choose not to deal with him again.
BTW & FYI................................Gunwizard and GUNSWIZARD are TWO different people. Name calling and throwing someone under the bus is a lost art.

Actually, having sold a number of rifles, pistols, and scopes on here, its not uncommon for a buyer to ask if you'll take payments. I've accommodated several. No big deal to me.
