I really enjoyed the latest issue of Rifle magazine. Mule Deer's article on the .17 Hornet AI, the Low-wall article, and the one on adapters were all a nice change from the usual stuff. I hope they keep it up. The issue kind of rminded me of what the magazine was like years ago.

I liked the magazine as well.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

Mule Deer always does FIRST CLASS work. He gives full measure, unlike some writers !! Many people can write in a way that provides good information; to do so in a way that makes reading it a pleasure takes special talent.

Sounds like an interesting issue. My copy might even show up this week. I'm on a motor route and it seems like I'm always a few days behind the rest of the world when it comes to receiving stuff in the mail.

Agreed, best issue in a long time. Always appreciate the extra history lesson from MD even tho I've never had a Hornet.

Always enjoy Rifle, but the optics are getting to me. I must be old and crotchety, because I just can't see putting a two pound scope on a hunting rifle, even if I have a gun bearer.
