I've been happy with mine and just ordered another one from Cameraland...

I might be getting another one as well. So far I’m liking everything about it. It’s mounted on my Whelen and it’s only got about 15 rounds shot from under it but after the holidays it’ll get put through its paces and a good workout.

Thanks to everyone that shared their experience with this scope. 👍

I'm late to the party. Held out as the "made in China" was off putting. I have to say, aside from origins I'm impressed. Reticle is spot on and usable throughout the magnification range. Excellent illumination (day light bright). Turret clicks feel good.

Will need to slam it on a rifle and give it a whirl.

I hate sheit made in China... but think I may very well get another.

Not a shot at you, but since this encapsulates the “Chinese goods” predicament rather succinctly it’s worth a quote.

I thought your quote was spot on Jeff

Well, rumor has it Mueller drops his report soon. Clearly, the public will end up seeing it one way or the other; I don't think Barr is a Trump patsy and there's certainly significant, shall we say, public interest in transparency here.

We already know via his own lawyer's screwup that Trump's campaign manager (Manafort) actively colluded. Whether the conspiracy to defraud America extended to Donald Trump Sr. is really the only question left at this point. We also know that POTUS and basically everyone around him lied their asses off and attempted to impede and, let's just use the word, obstruct the investigation at every turn. Not a good look, that. Not what, oh I don't know, "innocent people" generally do?

Hey Stick!

How are these scopes working out for you? Do you still like them? Are you using them on hunting rifles or something else?

What is your comparison to Super Chickens?

I am thinking about getting some to put on a 3 Tikka hunting rifles. (.22LR, .223 and .308) for hunting locally in mixed woods/fields hunting.

I appreciate your time.

I have generally avoided PRC optics except where they are the only option for a particular feature set (e.g. 1x micro prism scopes; special reticles). But in this case, despite this scope's provenance, the whole package is very appealing.

I have an LRTSi 3-12x and a Sig Tango 6 2-12x and have long have been looking for that magnification with an LRHS-style hunting reticle. I also have an LRHSi 4.5-18x and although I like that scope, the Gen 2 from GAP didn't appeal to me for several reasons. I haven't been actively following Athlon's offerings since I'd picked up a Cronus BTR 4.5-29x four years ago.

I am satisfied that this is a very unique item that fills a niche that doesn't attract much attention, if any, from other manufacturers. CL says they are out of stock on the MIL version, so I went looking elsewhere and picked up four of them for ridiculously good value this weekend.

I did order an S-Tac 3-16x FFP from CL on Friday to replace an S-Tac 3-16x SFP on a 17 HMR rifle. Hopefully that somewhat makes it up to CL. smile

Haha! That reminds me of some folks on Rimfire Central that stacked it deep with closeout Weavers from Natchez.

If there's one thing I've learned with scopes, most designs will eventually be discontinued and won't necessarily be replaced by something better. If you find something you like...buy it up!!!

I mounted mine tonight.
Put one on a 6.5x47.
Took a total of four shots .
Two at 25 yards .. bore sighter on a large black dot.
One shot at 100 yards. Went high. Clicked to the hit.
Last shot went in the bull.
Easy peasy.

Sounds like my initial session after mounting it on my 7-08.

I like the center dot.
Alot.
I set the gun up for DonKnows SIL.
Young fella was struggling with a Savage.
60 rounds of under half MOA goodness at 300 yards is ready for his season.
Thinking it will up his odds quite a bit.
