I have embraced Marie Kondo's approach to possessions and I am going though my outdoor gear and thinning the herd.

This will be the first installment several where I pass on my gear to be loved by another.

The first person to post 'I'll take _____' in this post and to send me a private message has first dibs. I accept payment in the form of check, Postal Money Order, or PayPal Friends and Family. Paypal is the preferred method. Upon payment, provide me with your name and shipping address. I will provide you with a shipping confirmation / tracking number in return. Prices include USPS Priority Shipping to the lower 48. My goal is to ship same day or the next. I will limit my responses in this post due to very busy schedule, but will respond quickly to private messages.


1. First up is a Tim Olt Knife that I bought and never used or sharpened, M4 steel, micarta handle. Sheath included.

2.Great Eastern Cutlery Bull Buster in 1095 Steel. Orange derilin handles, unused and unsharpened with tube and paper.

3.Buck 560 Titanium and 2 Line Buck 110 in 440 Steel. Not many of either model around. The 560 has two holes drilled on one side of the scale to accommodate a clip that was never installed. The previous owner must have done it. The titanium is the frosted version and sheath is included. The Buck 110 is from the late 60's-mid 70's and has obviously been sharpened and used but is still in great condition. The bolsters on the 1 and 2 line version are much thinner. The lock up is solid, no play in the blade, beautiful ebony handles. No sheath for the 110.

4. Matt Harlistad Bird and trout pattern custom - burl wood, mosaic bolsters, tapered tang, thin very sharp blade. I discerned from some old blade forum posts that the steel is ATS-34. I believe Matt to be deceased with very little info on him.

5. Buck 116 and 102. Buck 102 has the micarta spacer and is 440 steel. Convexed edge very very sharp. The Buck 116 is in 425 steel and lacks the micarta spaced behind the guard. Someone cut a small choil for complete edge sharpening. Both have sheaths that are in good shape.

6. Gerber a-400 of M2 steel and has chrome plating on blade. Some specs of chrome are gone, well used, all of the rhino hide coating on the handle is gone, the original sheath is gone, edge is extremely sharp. Great user, comes with an after market sheath that fits very well. $65.00

7. Buck 549 folding fillet knife and Buck 123 fillet knife. Both in great condition. The 549's handle is dirty but very functional. The 123 comes with the sheath. The 549 is extremely sharp but the 123 could use a touch up.

How long is the blade on #1?

Cutting edge is 4 1/8 and 4 3/8 overall with choil.
