What's the Leupold 6x30 Yosemite bino equivalent nowadays? Looking to buy another pair for the younger kids. Bought two pairs years ago and gave one away. My set is still serviceable and is great for the thick wooded areas here.

Kowa YF II series is identical to the original Yosemite. Doug carries them.

How about Opticron Savanah? That is what I bought for my kids and wife to look at birds in the yard. I used them for a few archery sites and thought they were decent and I typically carry Swaro SLC.

The Opticron Savannah is the same design and likely little different.

I have 2 pairs of Kowas YF II 6x30, excellent glass and easy to use for the kids. Depending on hand size, the focus might get tricky, but even my 5yo uses them without trouble.

Heck no, I carried those Yosemite's bow hunting for a few years before I upgraded. Still have them. Nice binos.

The Swarovski sales rep laughed when I asked her about the possibility of a Swaro 6x bino a few years ago.

I was serious.
