The commercial version with that serial number C95XXX is 1917. Military number 95XXX is from 1914. 1916 C27600 1917 C75000 1918 C99000 1919 C106000 Mine from last month production in March 1923, right before the 1911A1 design change.

A 1914 would also have fire blue controls like the safety, slide stop etc.

Wasn't many "C"'s made in the early days. Most went to the gov't. What does "commercial" signify? sold to the public.
