I dont watch much tv. But I saw an episode of Peaky Blinders and loved it. With winter coming I might get into it.
Has anyone watched The Man in the High Castle? Saw one episode and loved that also. Might have to do both this winter.
Never watched or heard of that one, anyone else have any comments on it?
Oh yeah! One of my most favorite series ever. I need to rewatch first 5 seasons in preparation for the 6th season and the movie. Set between the ending of WW1 and WW2 vicious street gangs in England. Thomas Shelby runs the Peaky Fuggin Blinders. Very interesting twists and turns concerning this powerful crime family.
Its not always easy to do the right thing, But it is always the right thing to do.
I can’t watch one episode at a time. Takes me about a full episode to figure out what the fook they’re saying haha. Damn good show though. Pretty horses too.
Turn on the closed captioning. It worked for me.
Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.
One of the best series I’ve watched. I tend to binge it. Looking forward to season 6. I agree with those that say Arthur is a great character, but he’s far from the only one. Aunt Pol was great, she’ll be missed. Subtitles do help with the Brummie accent.
Man in the high castle is good too, and I’m rewatching Vikings. Also recommend the Americans and Justified as well.

Forgot to mention, I had to do that as well.

I think she was married to the guy who played Dick Winters in band of brothers.
I watched the first few seasons. One season started out a little hyped like it had become a caricature of itself. May need to go back and work through the first few episodes of that season. Maybe it warms back up.
Yup, "Polly" was Mrs Damon Lewis. she died of cancer, was 52 years old.
and yeah, the guy playing Arthur is GREAT. damn good actor.

I never heard of this show either, thought this was gonna be a thread about the Clamster and ballz putting people on ignore but still peeking at their posts lol. Thanks Skankcunt I’ll check it out!

Yes. Husband Damian Lewis.
Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.
Yes. Every year I'd forget how great the soundtrack is and then each new season would remind me of that all over. The opening "Red Right Hand" by Nick Cave is perfect.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
I’ve never seen the show, I’m not surprised Tom Hardy ended up in it, reminds me of the Legend movie, about the Keats, a couple of real gangsters in the ‘60’s.
