Friends/brothers in Christ,
I know that you all don't hear from me much, but on this occasion, I would like to share a prayer request with those of you who are my brothers in Christ. I know that some people in the church shy away from the subject presented in this post, but for those who don't and wouldn't mind helping out, here goes.
For the past several years (since hitting puberty about 7 years ago) I have struggled in the area of sexual purity. I know that this is something that all guys struggle with, but I have become convinced over that past 6 months or so that those sexual sins present in my life are not supposed to be there. I won't go into details, but I would greatly appreciate the prayers of those who would intercede for me on this matter. I am going on a short-term mission trip shortly (June 18-July 7) and feel that there is much about this issue in my life that needs to be resolved before then.

I really do need all the help I can get on this one; I have a feeling that this is gonna be a long haul, but then again, maybe not. Who knows what God's working up for me?

My prayers and my thoughts are with you, I also struggle in this area. Remember what happened when the Philistines captured the Ark and put it next to the statue of their god (Dagon?) The statue came down. Sometimes it helps to stop looking at the idol and just put God next to it and then the problem stops looking so big. Just remember, sex is a gift from the Lord and he generally has somebody for us to enjoy it with so don't beat yourself up about having a sex drive, just follow the rules of the road. Easier said than done and if you can find a like minded soul in your fellowship that can be a great help, if at times you feel like the only sinner in a bunch of spiritual superstars then that comes from you know who!Best wishes kuduman
