After shooting this guy and it's buddy I missed a pretty good whitetail. Whitetail bucks kind of have my number. Damn Johnny it is about t get personal. At 67 I'm pretty calm with about any mule deer in front of me . Whitetail not so much.
Ready, I think you may have missed the point. No boredom here!
Sense opening day I have passed about 25 bucks WT and MD, at least. Dam whitetail!

Those 2 coyotes don't even have an opinion any more.
Dam whitetail.
I didn't even walk across the canyon to look at the first dog. here was hair floating for 2-3 minutes after the shot.

I hear ya Mike. When it doesn't get your blood up it is time to quit.
Thinking back in that last 17 years sense I moved to Montana I have missed 2 deer out of at lest 2-4 deer a year both were WT bucks. I need to get my chit together.
They are certainly a fun critter to hunt but I still HATE them.
