I know, I know -- 220 gr in a 30-06??? It's a friend of mine's cartridge of choice. Anyone have three boxes of factory loads available for sale? If so, please PM your shipped-to-Wisconsin price. Thanks.

My brother hunted deer in Wisconsin and according to what he said the ranges are really close. a 220 grain bullet would work well, I'd think.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

Nothing wrong with 220 Gr, RN in an .06. I have thumped a lot of elk with them in the last 30+years from 20 yards out to 350+

Would prefer to find 220 gr. Remington Core Lokt. If I can find bullets, I can reload.
