Key prosecution witness, a few yards behind Rosenbaum's pursuit of Rittenhouse says Rosenbaum was lunging for the rifle, and refuses to say that Rosenbaum was already falling when he was shot. Witness just firmly held his ground despite some badgering by the prosecutor. Judge admonshed the prosecutor. Clearly, Rosenbaum was chasing Rittenhouse, Rittenhouse was fleeing, and Rosenaum was the aggressor. I think the prosecution just cratered. Video is up at Legal Insurrection, but the web won't let me connect to get a link. The actual exchange is in the video, so you can watch it for yourself, but a reasonable paraphrase would go something like this:
Binger: So Rittenhouse shot Rosenbaum as he was falling, correct?
McGinnis: No, Rittenhouse didn’t fire until Rosenbaum charged and lunged at him.
Binger: So he shot him as he was falling?
McGinnis: No, not falling, lunging.
Binger: So you’re saying he shot him while he was falling?
McGinnis: No, that’s not my testimony. Lunging.

I'm reading the breakdown of that testimoney
Rittenhouse was offering medical to anyone in need that night and while being chased by Rosenbaum he was yelling "friendly, friendly, friendly"
holy schit, this trial is a sham. That kid needs to be home, not on trial

😡 Yep. The mayor should have held a ceremony for awarding him the key to the city for his couragious actions. Instead, he's in jail anticipating a possible murder conviction.

The system has serious problems. It is about emotion and public opinion, and less about facts. Little time is spent talking about the facts while more is spent twisting the words, adding emotion and manipulating the people sitting in the jury seat. Its about time to overhaul the system because it is obviously affected to a high level by political ideals and less by the law. It is less about innocent until proven guilty and more about pushing an agenda on the public.

The FBI having surveillance video from 9k feet and covering it up and editing the video should tell you everything you need to know about the case.
