Does anyone happen to know where specialized taps are available locally? Specifically, I'm looking for a .150x50 tap. I know Brownell's have them for about $20@.

Where is locally? Shop Tools in Colorado Springs probably has them.

+1 on McMaster-Carr and MSC, I've ordered lots of tools for my shop from both. They have vast inventories and ship fast in many cases second day delivery, they're the leaders in their industry.
