Finally......my LCS just called, the IMR 4227 I’ve been wanting came in today! Once hunting season and a few major home projects done.....will feed some to my 460 S& W. Hoping to push my 400 grain cast bullets accurately and about 100 fps faster than my present load. Hoping to test it in a few months! memtb

My LGS finally got a bunch in about a month ago also and I picked up a few pounds at a decent price. Got some cast and 210 Deep Curls loaded up for my 41 Mag but haven’t had a chance to try them out yet. Good luck with the new load.

I’m getting good accuracy with WW 296, but all sources suggest that I should get about 100 fps increase with the 4227. If I can get around 1600 and good accuracy with my 400’s from that 8” barrel
