Anybody know how many of the RSI stainless .308 models were made? What can one expect to pay for one that's NIB with very nice wood?

The last couple I saw on Gunbroker went for several thousand dollars. If I remember correctly one was close to or just over $3K and another was about $3.5K.

I tried to go find the auctions I was recollecting but I couldn't. I found these two that sold for $2650 and $2680 but the wood on these are not nearly as figured as the other two I remember.

Local shop had one NIB on consignment for nowhere near any of those prices...., I went and looked it over 2-3 times but passed. The wood-to-metal fit at receiver and tang areas was terrible. And for me, the stainless in that version just didn't look right.

I just noticed this one on GB....currently over $2800 with 2 days left. Won't surprise me to see it crack the $3k mark.
