I have one of the recently imported Zastava M70's (like the Interarms Mark X) I recently bought. I do not have ammo yet, I know it is available. But will the chamber clean up with a 280 AI Reamer? It maybe seems easier for the 280 AI stuff in the U.S. Thanks.

280 AI is 2.097 to the shoulder with an OD at the shoulder of 0.454"
7x64 Brenneke is 2.028 to the shoulder with OD at the shoulder of 0.425"

Should clean up fine w/o setting the barrel back.

The Brenneke round base is just a tad smaller, also. .463 vs .470. I

You can buy core lokt 7x64 ammo for cheap. I've seen a ton of it around. The 280 AI gives nothing up to the 7x64. Besides, a 280 AI in a Mauser? Puhhhhlease. Rather, spend the money on a 3 pos safety, get the action and trigger slicked up, replace the bottom metal or not and go hunt stuff.

The way life should be.
