Stevo, thanks mate appreciate it. He picked up a nice solid frame recently and 200 hundred cases, it had been re blued and he wants a shooter so hes happy. Just getting organized to send some photos to les to post, it has a very interesting alteration done that ive never seen. the front receiver ring has been machined to take a sliding dovetail and I think they must have used a stith style base on the tang. keep an eye open for it johno

johno No Problem. If Your buddy ever gets into using a reformed brass for the 22H.P. i suggest 25-35 Win cases. But theres plenty of Norma out there in 5.6x52r also. Steve

Steve, He lucked into this one from deceased estate, along about 300 cases. I will be getting les to post a photo when I get home of the rifle. It has had the front receiver ring machined to form a dove tail with a flat top, never seen anything like it, but there are no rear holes so I am guessing that someone was using a styth style rear base. Yep I know its not original, but this is a very interesting idea for doing something that has already been tampered with. johno
