Simple: we let America’s enemies establish the rules of engagement.
Just like what the Pakistan secret service have done to the government of Pakistan. The government of Pakistan only exists because their secret service allows it. Donald Trump caught them and the democRATs by surprise. This will not change until enough Americans get tired of it and make it change. Something the main stream media will fight tooth and nail because they are part of the plan. kwg

As the article states, it started with George W. Bush, or rather his controllers. Who, at the time of its birth, would have thought the Patriot Act would degrade to what it's being used for now?

Anyone who is not a friend of the current socialist revolution is wrong think and thusly an enemy of the State. You will NOT deviate from right think. They do not need the police/FBI/DOJ to enforce this, they have millions of informers, and social media, to spot and follow wrong think people to their homes, schools and businesses or jobs to intimidate, threaten and physically attack. If that reporter had followed those Rittenhouse jurors successfully, that jury would have been terrorized and intimidated on social media, not just on MSN news. And the jurors would have BLM on their lawn the same night. The STASI ruled East Germany by this method, every sixth person was an informer. Here we have 25% of the population that could be described as staunch party line democrats, the hard core believers, all with a smart phone...it's not much of a stretch to say that 1 in 4 people are potential informers. ^^^^^This^^^^^

So what you’re saying is that democrats and the liberal media are actually the real domestic terrorists? They have been for a long time. But, since they own the mass media they get to tell the story they want us to hear, which may not be anywhere near the "truth". Did you really think Walter Cronkite was always telling you the "truth" or was he telling us what he wanted us to know ?? kwg

Be honest, did any of us have any idea at the time that George W. Bush was as bad as he turned out to be? First term was against AlGore, second term purple heart (bandaid) Kerry.... In my case, I didn't realize how bad Bush really was until Trump showed up.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Bush may have put the mechanism into place but it was absolutely Obama & his handlers that executed it & turned it into what it has turned into today. And it's pretty much self perpetuating.............& beyond the control of voters, even if elections were clean. All of DC, 100% of it, is corrupt for it's own well being. DJT never really understood, or grasped, the depth of the deep state, given many of the boneheaded appointments that he made, until it was too late. MM

In my case, I didn't realize how bad Bush really was until Trump showed up. I was mildly supportive of Dubya during his first campaign, because he objected to the idea of the US being the policemen of the world. He quickly proved he was a piece of [bleep] neocon within just a few months, however, even worse than his father. I voted third party in his second run.

"DJT never really understood, or grasped, the depth of the deep state, given many of the boneheaded appointments that he made, until it was too late." Maybe not Montana: "Through the advise and consent rules, the Intelligence Branch uses the SSCI to keep out people they consider dangerous to their ongoing operations. Any appointee to the intelligence community must first pass through the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, before they get a full Senate vote. If the SSCI rejects the candidate, they simply refuse to take up the nomination. The president is then blocked from that appointment. This is what happened with President Trump over and over again.".

The end of democracy, and the defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending institutions and moneyed incorporations.
