If it's a fair price and you've been wanting one, what's stopping you? Snag that thing. Prices are only going to keep getting worse!

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Man its like 8.25 to 10.25 per rd usually now sold in bxs of 10 or 20. Some as low as the 6.00 to 7.00 range. Seriously man... 👍👍👍

I just didn’t know how good the armalite’s are. Been seeing Christianson arms and Savages(not a fan) He’s asking $1250. Which I didn’t think was too bad.

I’d buy it for that. Take out the engine block of a police Ford Explorer or .gov Suburban

.338L is the identical math of .340 Weatherby...
If you are a 1,000 yard shooter and have a budget to feed it... and a need/want... $1,250 is a good price to play.
You will need GOOD GLASS. Junk glass will break... I run a Kahles on my .340 Bee.

I am..........disturbed.

LOL... OK, I'll back up. Seriously thought... study the BCs of the loads you will shoot. Something like the 6 Dasher or the 6.5 x 55 have such superior BCs that the energy at 1k is not to be ignored... and 1/4 of the recoil. .338L is a super sexy round, but it is also a monster in many ways. GOOD LUCK!

Do you know the round count? If it is not really high, I would be all over that thing for that price. Might even allow you a reasonable flipper's fee if you want to resell it. PM me if you wanna discuss.

I had one 12 or so years ago. With the scope and bipod it was too heavy to hunt with legally in Idaho. It wasn't a bad gun but I didn't use it for much so I sold it.
I had a hard time finding a sub moa load for mine. They guy I bought it from said it liked black hills 250g bthp ammo and gave me a partial box. That load did shoot 1/2 to 3/4 moa. I ended up just pulling a factory load and duplicating it. It took me a bit to figure out the powder because it wasn't one I recognized and it was ball powder. It turned out to be magpro. In the end my duplicates shot just like the factory stuff.
Back then it got a lot of attention at the range. Everyone wanted to shoot it.
