That’s the going price for the new Python. Not sure why it’s worth twice as much when gun broker has a buy it now price of $1,499, which is the same as Colt’s MSRP. Sounds like a good deal was struck, but I’m not sure how you guys think it’s a fishy deal or a $3,000 gun?
ETA cove keep was faster on the draw. We were typing at the same time.

I stopped in at Brownell's retail store a couple weeks ago. They had four of the 4.25" Pythons in the case at $1495.

One must be careful . Some of the early new run pythons were returned to Colt for various " issues". They were repaired and returned under warranty. The crane or frame at the crane was marked with a small *.
There is nothing wrong them.....but you should know what you are buying. I have come across 3 in Gunshops.
I am not saying this is one. the frame is closed.
