Definitely not to hijack ric's thread..but what kinda velocities would be reasonable from say ..a 7mm/.375Ruger? As i like to do...26" barrel? And would AIing afore mentioned combo be worthwhile?

I don't have a clue but would imagine they would be very similar to a 7STW. I've never seen a .375 Ruger case. In fact, I've not read a gun magazine in at least 10 years and don't know what the latest of anything is other than something a customer requests.

So, sounds like the new rifle will be a 458-375 Ruger. How's this compare with the 450 Marlin? Gotta be a little hotter, with more case capacity. Yep, I'm thinking .458 Campfire.....(grin!) Virgil B.

450-375 Ruger would be a 460 G&A #2, wouldn't it?
Or the 450 Rick Ruger
Or the 450 Bin Hardkicking
or the 450 Campfire crunchenbanger
or .....

Mickey;
You're using Karl on bolts, or is Rick?
Either way, what do you think of his work?
