I have a Marlin SBL 45-70 I purchased the year they were introduced. JM stamped (obviously). Excellent condition, very accurate with both cast and jacketed bullets.

It has had the cross bolt safety delete kit installed. All original parts will be included with the sale

$2850 shipped.

Thanks.

WOWZERS!

A stainless Marlin lever action is going for almost $3,000? I should’ve never sold the dozens that I’ve owned….I’d be buying Bill Gates out at that price!

This isn’t an indictment on your price….it’s just amazing that a stainless Marlin is bringing almost as much as an original Winchester 1886. 😁…..think of this as a free bump. Good luck with the sale. 👍

Thank you. I am only selling it as my brother in law pointed out what they were going for on Gunbroker. I would be happy to trade someone for an 1886, 1885, or Sharps in 45/70 +/- $ depending on which gun was more valuable. I like this Marlin a lot, but not so much that I am not willing to sell or trade it in the current market.

I just got $3000 for mine, and it was a Remlin. One of the new Ruglins will be replacing it in another month or two.

I bet they'll be just fine, as long as Paul Barnard stays away from them.
