Called around the region today looking for small dual-sport MC . No one has anything .
I was told prices were anywhere from $1,000 over MSRP to as much as $2000 over plus tax/freight/etc./etc. .
Guy in West Plains ,MO. said they had people calling from 5 states away on the little Honda CT125 , had a bidding war for the couple of them they received . $3900 MSRP sold for mid $5K . Crazy & no end in sight .

We are pretty good on bikes right now.
I would like to ad a Honda 125 Big Wheel to the lineup.
MSRP is high three thousand.
If you can find one....its closer to 5.
Just put a Dunlop 606 on the front of my 650L. I be good for a while.
I am MAGA.

I was thinking about rigging up a motorcycle on a receiver hitch and using it as a go between when moving machinery(solo).

I agree with this on the new stuff out there. Currently, there are some great buys on Harleys in the 2000-2015 range up my way.

I’m thinking of selling my Duke just because I think I could get $2K over what I paid.

People here are bitching about paying MSRP, taxes and set-up fees (which are bullshit) when they can find a toy they want around here.

This March I was in the dealership to get a hoodie.
They bought my RoadKing for 100 more than I paid for it brand new - 3 years prior from the same dealer. All based on a picture on my phone.
I did the deal and got a new Road Glide out of the process - at MSRP.
3 weeks later their truck and trailer showed up at my house (60 miles away) - dropped off the new bike, picked up my old. Sold off their floor in a week.

Weld up a receiver hitch to the forks and tow the bike behind each piece of equip like a tow dolly (if not going too far). Self contained, no need to have a trailer or moto carrier.

I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.
