This is intriguing to me. MC2scIntuitive to a lot of my rimfire rifles and shotguns... The flat-profile MC2sc trigger (approx. 5.5 lbs pull) has an integrated blade safety, a short, tactile reset and reduced overtravel. It features a crisp, clean break and smooth take-up. All MC2sc models have a reversible magazine release behind the trigger guard. A manual cross-bolt safety (shown with red indicator, above) is available as an option. Innovative... or a bridge too far? GR

Had a mcsc1 without, currently have a mc2c without but if you like'em go for it. Personally I want the trigger blade safety only. I shoot the Mossberg better than the Glocks.
Bangflop! another skinning job due to .260 and proper shot placement.

It is simply a manual of arms.
If you train to operate it then it should be no problem. Countless people have complained about the lack of a manually operated safety on a Glock over the years. For those that wished for such things, this offers a solution, though it is offered from a different manufacturer.

It sounds like it's for new gun owners who are more afraid of their gun than the bad guys. We'd get them in the shop all the time.

Nearly every , semi-relevant semi-automatic pistol that has a safety utilizes a largely similar shaped and located lever.....then this pops up. Nothing about this broadcasts "good idea."

Depends.
Given its location, it might be disengaged w/ side pressure from the trigger finger, as the finger drops into the guard to address the trigger.
Almost passive - if it works like that.
Otherwise, a trigger fingertip activated cross-bolt safety, like many other common firearms.

If it prevents re-holstering ND's w/o having to learn a "safety swipe"? (the most forgotten activity by most low-time shooters in a fight) It should at least be tactile when engaging the trigger. GR
