I've been trying via phone and email to get a little help from Beretta on a rifle that escaped their factory without the rear sling stud. The dealer, Sportsmans Warehouse, wants nothing to do with it of course. Beretta has been useless as well though they sound friendly enough on the phone. Thoughts (other than don't spend good money for "junk")?

That sounds like Beretta. I don't really consider them to have a warranty.

Depending on what you think your time & aggravation is worth, I'd just buy a replacement set for under $15 & try to remember to inspect things I but more closely before handing over the $$.

Always assumed that if I bought anything from Beretta - warranty was non-existent. Assume I'll spend money to fix whatever went wrong. Their warranty is that bad.

For a sling stud? I'd buy one as cheap as they are, more than about 3 minutes time trying to get it covered, you're losing money.

Yeah. Silly me expecting a new in-box rifle would be similarly appointed as the rack model. Kind of scared to check for rifling now! Don't get much for 8 Benjies anymore. LOL

I really need a 'first blood' pic of the rifle with a baler twine sling attached with duct tape. I've given them 2 months. (I know it's kind of whining when I can run a $1.39 screw eye into the vacant hole and solve the problem. LOL!)

I was hoping not to hear what urbaneruralite said.

I have had zero issues with Berettas customer service in the last year or so. I don;'t care for their business model but the customer service has been good lately.

Sportsmans should make it good but then again they are part of the Basspro family of crap.
