Hey Stick, wishin you and your family all the best for season! That's so cool! Is there one for 6.5x55 Swede? I'll never shoot that far, but it would be nice to know if it's gonna fall out the sky at 937 yards or some such. This place is a hoot.

MM, As you KNOW,I'm a 7.62x51 Slut and my FAVORITE is Pre-WW III FN CRF's! Hint. I've only shot to 250yds,but I feel with this Reupold, something will happen. Hint. Here's hoping Winter is not yet at your door,as it is mine!.................. Larry, Remeber some years back you had given me one of the M40A1 stocks? I'm not 100% sure, but 99% sure this is the stock: https://scoutsniper.org/contribute/2017-usmc-m40a1-rifle-raffle/I had gifted the stock to a former USMC Sniper, and if I recall, he was planning to build it back to it's original spec. The pattern and some of the wear on this stock and around the recoil pad and rear sling swivel repairs looks very familiar. Anyhoo, I stumbled across the website recently, and it made me stop and examine it closer. 250 yards is fantastic with your 7.62x51! That's at least 100 yards past it's effective range.

If it was 30 some odd years ago, and you and Jim, and Jud, were the ages you are now............................................ I can almost guarantee you there'd be some trouble involved!

Shane, I certainly recall having a "few" REAL M40A1 Returns and thought now,as I did then,"who better than a MASTER Gunny?!?" to receive same. I was/am happy to have sent it along, what I still believe was a "rightful" path and you obviously kept that ball rolling. From the hip,I simply had too many of 'em,to recall with 100% accuity, but knowing me,I've pics somewhere...if only for Retrostalgia.(grin) It's nice to see that a Jarhead landed it and the only thing better, woulda' been an 8541 receiving same. I'm happy to see the circle unbroken. It was barely a coupla weeks ago, that I tossed another Return together. James 7" RPM MTU Speedmire,TT Flatty, yada, yada, yada. Kiss, find pressure and rock on with 90gr Beer Cans at 3200fps. P.S. and by the way...I yet retain the Cold War Trinket. Obliged! With luck,I'll get the 308 to 300yds,by Spring...................... It is a flat puzzle to me how you people can be so wrong about things. I slept out on the sidewalk of a truck stop on the Crow Reservation with no problems at all. The locals were helpful and nice. Furthermore I found the the Rocky Boys girls to be friendly and hospitable 🙂 Prob’ly you guys’ perceptions are distorted through the collective lenses of your White Privilege.
