Bass Pro had a rifle on sale that I wanted. I drove the 75 miles one way to buy it. Most of you know my luck with buying new guns. Needless to say, I wanted to inspect it as much as I could prior to purchase. I wanted to look down the bore. The trigger has to be pulled for the bolt to be released. I asked the red bulbous, venous nosed alcoholic if he could remove the trigger guard so that I could eyeball the bore. Nope. Against policy and he didn't offer any other assistance in helping me eyeball the bore in any other way. Just nope. The store is pretty dark, so trying to examine it through the muzzle wasn't going to give me a good view. On the other side of the city is a Bass Pro owned Cabelas. The unattended guns in the Gun Library (and the rack right outside) are unlocked and have no trigger locks. A customer could go to the ammo shelf, get ammo and go load it into a gun in the gun library without an employee ever seeing him. I can hardly wait for Bass Pro to totally fuggkk up Sportsman's Warehouse.

It wasn't going to work anyway.

I just hate it when a Savage 110 Tactical slips through my fingers.
