The last, long look of a place where camaraderie and good times took place in Wisconsin's 9 day gun deer season.

Love it. No place like deer camp.

Oregon gives 4 weeks for regular gun deer season, and 7 for elk. It's brutal.

I feel your pain, no doubt I feel similarly (and sad) once the gun season passes. Simply a special time of year, like a Holiday!

So how did your group do? Any deer pics to share? I always enjoy them!!!

We had a great season. Not a lot of deer on the ground but we got a few. I saw deer every sit but one. Got a nice fat doe doe the freezer but didn’t see a buck that needed a ride home with me.

The season where I hunt in TX runs from the first weekend of Nov to the first weekend of Jan and on places under MLDP management programs can extend their season to mid-Feb.

Awesome. BTW, the setting of your cabin is very picturesque and looks like a wonderful place to create memories!

What a great looking cabin and setting...beautiful woods! Man, we're spoiled in SC, as it's a 4 1/2 month season in most of the state. Granted, it's so bloody hot the first 6 weeks of the season, that I do not go near the woods, but plenty folks do. Most want a buck in velvet I suppose. Anyway, would love to see some pics of the season's success too!
