I never see BLR's on the shelf anywhere and there's not a particularly large number of them anywhere online either. I understand that supplies of most anything are troublesome right now, but with BLR's they always seem to be rare.
Do you have to place an order for one through a dealer in order to get one?

There's 39 NIB BLRs in 6 different chamberings on Gunbroker right now, not to mention 5 more chamberings among used ones.

Maybe something there fits the bill...

Not much demand for BLR. Not enough for dealers to stock them. Mail order good!

What you looking for. Got a stainless laminate takedown in 358 that needs a home. Not nib but close to it. Maybe fifty rounds down the barrel.

I saw several at the each of the last two well stocked shops I visited. Maybe they are just not big sellers in your area. I think it was a 7mm mag that was marked down at one.

If you already know what you want just order it. Prices are high. Easiest is GunBroker.

I'm wanting a .243 Win. Stainless w/ pistol grip. Apparently unobtainable right now.

I would look for a good used steel rifle . Don't think I would like a BLR in Aluminum .

But it's what I would like. I don't want a steel one.

Browning does 2 good shipments from portugal.a year. Distributors are flooded and then it dries up. We try to keep a few in stock but its tough.

Elk County Arms in Pennsylvania usually has them in stock.

That’s until you picked one up, shot it and carried it all day hunting. Then you would want one of the light weight newer aluminum receiver units.

Put yourself on the "Notify Me" list. Elk County Ammo and Arms gets a lot of Brownings in and usually you get notices pretty quickly. I got both of my BLRs from them in relatively short order.

Bigger retailers like Cabelas, may, may, order one in and hold it for you, then put it on the rack if you pass.

From the word I was getting from every single shop I talked to is that they get them from their distributors - and the distributors get shipments from Browning/Miroku a couple of times per year.
