Is there a scope alternative around $500 to the firedot reticle? I want the cross hairs not just a dot. I am rigging up another predator hunting rig and I hate having a dot for the crosshair. I like the illuminated dot for night hunting but I like the crosshair for day hunting. All I’ve seen are busy reticles with a dot in the center. I just want a z plex reticle and when illuminated a red dot in center of cross hairs. Also don’t want any Chinese crap. If I have to spend more than $500 I will.

Firedot reticles include crosshairs on all the ones I've seen and many are simple plex crosshairs. I assume you are referring to the Leupold Firedot Reticle. There are lots of other illuminated reticles available on scopes of other brands.

This is what I don’t like. The crosshairs don’t touch just a dot in the center.



This is what I’m looking for where there is crosshairs without illumination the just a red dot in the center of the crosshairs. I don’t really want a leupold but I like their firedot.

Burris Fullfield E1 is available illuminated for around $200, but has a 1" tube. I tried one and it didn't hold a candle to my firedot scopes.
