A beautiful No. 1A light sporter chambered in 280 Remington. Bluing and wood are in great shape. I honestly believe this one hasn’t been fired much. I ended up with two of these at the same time and have decided to cut this one loose. 1225 bare rifle shipped to your ffl.[Linked Image][Linked Image]

This is tempting. I just sold my 1A 7x57 and should replace it.

I’m trying not to buy anything for a while. Dang it! Someone buy this rifle before temptation overcomes

It shot accutips extremely well, around an inch at 100 yards.

It really hurts, because in my opinion the 280 is the finest cartridge for North America. Further the no. 1 is such a fine rifle and yours appears exceptional.

You’re really talking yourself into it😁. 280 will do everything you need here in North America and most of what you need in Africa excluding the big 5 with the right bullet

Well you need a couple to hunt with, 4 or 5 to look at, and 2 or 3 to just know you got some lol

Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

I have an extra 700 Classic 300 Weatherby plus cash.
Plus 30-06’s 760, 700’s 03-A3’s with added $’s.

Great looking 1A. My favorite No. 1 configuration!
