I'm guessing you have a 444p?? It just says model 444 according to the serial # it's one of the last ones manufactured before Remington took over.

They kick like hell and was hoping to find a box of those bullets and throttle it back a notch. No grizzlies here.

Those are tremendous deer and black bear bullets. No idea why they dropped them. I gathered up several hundred after Hornady pulled the plug on them, they still show up now and then.

Good luck and free bump, I can’t find any suitable 444 marlin bullet for sale online.

Good luck. They had a JM stamped one without the cross bolt safety at a local shop. I checked for components and decided to pass it up because availability of components is not good. Cheapest ammo I saw was $80 a box. Brass is available from Starline though.

if you don't find any try speer 270gr deepcurl another bullet your gun should like and is good on deer and bear That's what I've been using in my 444p along with some Sierra 250g JFP silhouette bullets. I don't think the Sierras were intended to expand but they do it well at 2200 fps plus. Bb
