Rarely. But more often than the 8 track and the Beta.

Still fairly regularly at work.

Not in years but many places still do but it’s not going to a fax machine, it’s efax. Social Security office still uses fax. I have no idea why these places will not accept email

I have one left over from when I closed my contracting business 11 years ago and still use it occasionally when someone requires a form faxed... usually for my wife's job...

I remember sending shipping alerts by telex back in the 1980's.

Never had, or needed one. I was fascinated with the teletype machines years back at the auto salvage yards.

No, I'll scan and email an image pdf.

Several times recently.. Papers for an estate and, a copy of my C&R.

Go down to the local library and look it up on the microfiche.

In the fiduciary world fax is still used... a lot. Apparently its more secure than email or other cyper-options.

My old Dell 1355cn printer is still a good copy machine, scanner, and fax. All the functions get used regularly.

And, yes I have a landline. Cell is not strong out where I live; mine works about 80% of the time. It's hilarious how many people assume my land number will receive texts. I don't want to be in contact with that kind of idiots.
