Time to replace my old Stanley. Putting up Christmas lights today which always brings out enough colorful language without a “fail to fire” about every third shot.
Any recommendations? Don’t need anything fancy, not looking for corded or battery. Just something that will shoot a basic 1/4-1/2 every time.

Most of them if they shoot at all won’t put a staple through a piece of cardboard

Arrow. Pick the one that uses the size staples you want to use. Cushion handle is nice.

Arrow works for me. You can buy 1/2” staples for it if you want.

I guess I’d go with a rechargeable battery operated if it would keep me from turning into Clark Griswold!

Aarow T50 and T75 (for wire/cable) have always been the best.

Thanks for the replies.

Looked at the Milwaukee and Dewalt battery powered, not worth the $’s for my use.

For <$20, have a T50 inbound.

I bought the Dewalt manual staple gun and really like it. It works.

I see you have it figured out with the T50.

I've got another, Bosch maybe, supposedly "ergonomic" when I bought it twenty years or so ago.

The T50 stays in my range bag if that tells you anything.

This is it, but the T75 looks to be out of stock everywhere.

IME Arrow T-50... Got mine used over 30 years ago. If they still make 'em I'd buy another one in a minute if mine died.
