Yotes. Eastern Coyote is bigger and fluffier than a Western Coyote. I've heard somewhere that they think the Eastern Yote may have bred with a wolf a million years ago or some such schit. Not sure why there is a difference. I do know from experience that the Eastern model is about twice the size of the Western model. The theory I've read is that Canadian red wolves interbred with coyotes but not that long ago. Here's an article that says that very recent DNA testing has revealed some in NC with a very high % of red wolf and one that appeared to be 100% wolf. HYBRIDS
