I've considered running for office, just so someone could piece together my 20's for me. Right? And 30's and 40's? Think about it. There is no way that anyone who lives a fun life can run for Republican office and be successful. (Unless you're rich.)

The irony is that the masses participate in the delusion that our "leaders" are somehow above the common failings of human beings and should be held to a higher standard not because they believe it but because it has been marketed to them by the media and they refuse to say, "Hey, stop trying to sell me this bullshit!" We have a circus/soap opera for a government because we are ruled by Hollywood, the media, and academia, every one of which is also a circus/soap opera, and every one of which remains successful because the public values theater and pretense more than truth and sincerity. So I ain't holding my breath.
