Yup, we've been discussing them in the .338 Federal thread...I ordered 500 a week or so ago when they were over $27/box, and now they are down to $24. The 225's are also on sale, but not quite as cheap (I think they were around $32/box).

I should have a few boxes here by the end of the week. Also found another can of H4350 today to load behind them.

Midway must have a bunch. It's good to see availability in this age of "not available"....
They must have bought a bunch from Federal, it was said to be from Federal's discontinued .338 Fed 185 gr factory load.
Why they would discontinue that one is a mystery, as that's a good bullet in a good round.
Oh well, cheap shooting for us.

Started at 73.5, and stopped at 75 which is Nosler's max load for 180 grain. I am hoping to get 3200 fps or more.

May be a bit too interesting. DF

Just FYI, for 338 Fed Woodleigh makes a 180gr just for 338 Fed and 338-06. It listed velocity is up to 2900FPS (it's not a "one bullet do all" like most other bullet manufactures"), BC is about the same as Nosler 180gr AB and they are $30 less a box than Nolser's AB and are available at Midway. They are every bit as good as ABs and proven on Africa game.
