A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have. -Thomas Jefferson

A government is the most dangerous threat to mans rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.

I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations. (James Madison)

I saw a movie where only the military and the police had guns. It was called Schindler's List.

I don't want to sound argumentative, but: What did he do to get on the "worse Presidents list" ahead of, Wilson for Proibition, Harding for corruption, FDR for Social Security, Truman for Korea, JFK for Viet Nam, Johnson for the Great Society-War on Poverty, Carter for mile long gas lines, Clinton for failure in everything but scoring on broads, ad nauseam?
Do tell us what made him worse.
Wake up, smell the politician, and re-elect nobody.
