I was looking at a TX lifetime hunting license application and realized there's a section that requires your SS#. (the box says required by federal law if over 13YO)
I then realized that when I got my daughter her first hunting license, they also required her SS# (even though I had her passport and birth certificate).
It makes me wonder, what the heck do they need the SS# for? It sounds like it could be a backdoor way of flagging potential gun owners in a database.
Anyone else ponder this?

I would say that if you have internet in your house the US Gov and the Chicoms know anything about you that they consider pertinent.

Thank you Bill Clinton! He got this going to catch "dead beat dads". Same goes for fishing licenses. Of course it's all about control.

Anyone else ponder this? No. Because I own a bunch of NFA stuff, so I'm already on any lists.

Just wait until the Blue States that have “legalized” marijuana, cross reference pot purchases with hunting licenses-permits to carry-firearm purchase and ammo purchases.
Presto, instant felons for millions of gun owners and hunters.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.
